The San Diego Zoo is a zoo in San Diego, California, located in Balboa Park. It is home to over 12,000 animals from over 650 species, including subspecies, and is located on 100 acres (40 ha) of Balboa Park leased from the City of San Diego. The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, its parent organisation, is a private non-profit conservation organisation. It has the world's largest zoology membership organisation, with over 250,000 member families and 130,000 child members.

Visitors with Disabilities
All visitors are welcome at the San Diego Zoo. We offer a number of services to assist guests with disabilities in enjoying their visit. For guests with disabilities, the Zoo provides special parking, restrooms, and access to shows, tour buses, and exhibits. Please keep in mind that there are some steep grades in the Zoo. Inside the Zoo, a free ADA shuttle service is available for guests with mobility issues. Guests who use mobility aids should consult the Zoo map for ADA pathways and elevators.

  Seodaemun Prison Seodaemun Prison History Hall is a museum and former prison in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It was constructed beginning in 1907. The prison was opened on October 21, 1908, under the name Gyeongseong Gamok. It was known as Keijo Prison  during the early Japanese colonial period (Keij Kangoku, the Japanese pronunciation of Gyeongseong Gamok). In 1923, its name was changed to Seodaemun Prison, and it later went by several other names.  History During the Japanese colonial period, the prison held around 500 inmates and was used to imprison Korean liberation activists. A separate facility was provided for women and young girls. Kim Koo was imprisoned in 1911. He was a significant figure in the Korean liberation movement. In 1919, shortly after the March 1st Movement, the number of imprisoned increased drastically. Approximately three thousand liberation activists were imprisoned, and the number of prisoners reached 2980 shortly before colonization ended in 1945.
